Several local initiatives have been set up to assist our community during the Corona pandemic:

Bolehill & Steeplegrange
Bolehill and Steeple Grange has its a neighbour-to-neighbour network, for information contact Jackie Batchelor firstname.lastname@example.org. This network extends to cover Wirksworth Moor and Longway Bank, contact Sean Barker email@example.com
This group aims to connect those who need urgent help and essentials with a team of volunteers, NHS workers and local businesses in Wirksworth & the surrounding villages to tackle COVID-19. A network of volunteers are being allocated to specific areas and each household will receive a leaflet and information that will advise on how they can access any help and support they need. This group aims to ensure access to essential food, supplies, medicine and emotional support via a dedicated contact. Information and volunteers are being coordinated and the priority at the moment is to reach those who require urgent help. For more information download their leaflet
More volunteers are required so please make contact and advise what type of assistance you may be able to offer by sending an email to: WCRG.firstname.lastname@example.org.
