Hall Hire: Covid Update

At present, in line with government legislation on 17 May we can only allow exercise and dance classes, moving to a more flexible opening as of 19 July. To enable us to accommodate our previous room hirers, to begin with we are focusing on regular classes and bookings.

If you are interested in a one-off booking, please call us or complete the usual booking form below. We will then review the request to determine if we are able to proceed whilst complying with current guidelines.

Covid secure measures have been put in place in our buildings, along with special terms and conditions of hire, to keep everyone as safe as possible. The measures include one-way routes in both buildings, limits on the number of attendees and restricted access so that currently only the larger rooms are available for hire. The legislation and regulations that apply to community buildings are complicated (and subject to change) and we continuously review both existing and potential bookings to ensure they comply with the latest guidance.

If you are coming to a class in either building please remember face coverings are a requirement in all public buildings.

The Town Council offices remain closed to visitors,  contact us (Mon-Thurs 8.30-12.30): 01629 823408 | bookings@wirksworth.gov.uk
