Wirksworth Tuesday Market
There has been a market in Wirksworth for hundreds of years. In 2018 the Town Council took over the running of the weekly market, investing in new equipment and creating a new, more accessible, market place. You can now visit Wirksworth’s rejuvenated Tuesday Market outside the Memorial Hall where you’ll find delicious locally baked goods and fresh produce, artisan wares and gifts.
Time: The market operates each Tuesday between 8.00am – 12.30pm.
Address: Gardens adjacent to the Memorial Hall, St John Street, Wirksworth DE4 4DS
Getting here: Parking is free for permit-holding Derbyshire Dales residents until 11am in the two car parks in the centre of town (at the Market Place and Barmote Croft) some free street parking is available also and there is a free car park on nearby Wood Lane.
